I  saw something on pinterest, were you take the Dr. Seuss book Oh, the places you will go, and have all her teachers sign it til she graduates high school.  The teachers wrote some sweet things in there. I could have not been more proud. One thing her teacher wrote is she saw Jesus everyday in her!!!!

Olivia,
I can not believe you will be a first grader next year. You have grown so much. I am excited to see what the Lord has planned for you. I know he has great things for you to do.
Love,
Mom

Mother's Day!!!

Mother's day started Saturday morning, with a brunch at a lady's house from church. Let me start by giving you a background of why we had the brunch.

There is a lady named Lynne Underwood, who passed away 2 years ago with brain cancer. She went to the same church as Jeremy and I, and LOVES young couples at the church. She was always throwing some kind of fellowship to get the young couples involved. At first, Jeremy and I were the only couple but it has grown now.
There is a lot that I can say about her. One thing I know I can say is she loved her Lord and Savior. Oh, her Faith gives me the chills. How she loved her family was amazing. She got to stay home will her children were little and then went to work as they got older. When I say she was a Christian she meant it.She is just an amazing person.
So, her best friends throw the "young moms" a brunch to honor us and remember Mrs. Lynne. We got there and ate some yummy food. We had a pamphlet  with some question's about mothers of the bible, we talked about our own moms and grandparents, and our own children. Of course, we talked about Mrs. Lynne.
Her daughter was there and of course she is a mom now. For her daughters wedding a few years ago,she needed a necklace to borrow so, she went to her best friend and borrowed one. At the brunch the friend gave Mrs.Lynne's daughter the necklace she borrowed as a gift to her. Yes, we all cried!!!
Photo: Our tribute today to our lovely Lynne whom we all miss but know that she living it up with Jesus! We threw a party with you in mind Lynne and we know you would have loved it!!
This is Mrs. Lynne at her daughters wedding. This was at the entrance at Mrs. Darlene's house

A few of us at the table eating. Some of our faces are funny.
Mrs. Lynne's daughter is sitting to my right.
Some of the things there were Mrs. Lynne's favorite. Yellow roses were her favorite and that was the center pieces of the tables.
It was a great time. I can't thank these women for thinking of us.

Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kidness is on her tongue. She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her. "Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all." Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates.
                                                                Proverb 31:25-31

Sunday we went to church that morning and then my parents and his moms. It was a great afternoon of spending family time together. I am still amazed at how God wanted me to be a mom and gave me some amazing children. My biggest struggle is do I love my children enough, do I give them enough attention, show them God's love and be the best what I need to be.

Olivia had a Mother's day  tea at school.
The purse is flled with questions she answered about me.
The part is she said I weighed 78 pounds!!!

Thank you Lord for everything you have blessed me with.
