6 years and 4 years

My title is for two important events that have happened to Jeremy and I. April 11th was SIX years since we have had our miscarriage.I have never really wrote about our miscarriage, just really talked about it when someone talks about theirs. I just would like to reflect on that pregnancy for a little bit. I found out we were pregnant and we were excited. I wanted our children to be close together. We went to the doctor like any of pregnancy and saw a heart and were giving a due date. After that the good ole throwing up started. I never thought I would stop. I finally called my doctor and told him. Of course some other nurse answered the phone and told me to go to the ER and get fluids, so off I went. I got there and it was PACKED. I called the doctor office back and got my doctors nurse. She said come straight in and walk to the back. When I got there he looked at me and said you go straight to the 3rd floor and get IV fluids. I went to the 3rd floor and waited to get in a room and IV fluids started. They came in and tried to get an IV. They could not get it and I had to go to the second floor and get it. They ended up putting it in my FOOT. I was there for about a week. After that I started feeling better and it was sinking in that we will be a family of four. It was time for our 12 week appointment and off we went. Jeremy came of course. The appointment took a little longer then normal, so Jeremy went back to work. As soon as he left the doctor came in. I called Jeremy quickly and he turned around. Praise the Lord he did. As the doctor was giving me the ultrasound, he was real quite and asked to do a vaginal one. Jeremy and I looked at each other and knew something was wrong. The doctor said he could not see the baby that will do to my scar tissue and wanted to get a better look. Jeremy and I saw the baby just fine. He left the room and I got ready to do the vaganial ultrasound. As he was doing the US he was very quite for a few minutes. Then he gave us the worst news every, the baby had NO heart beat. My world was crushed. After that we went into his office and signed paper work to have the baby removed through a DNC. Let me tell you those things are no joke. I cramped for weeks, bleed for a few weeks. I felt like I just had a baby. Which I did. I which I would have kept a pciture of the US, but my doctor kept it. This day I will never forget. I know I didn't carry full term or got to the name the baby. But to us it was a lost of a child. We have certain things in our heart that helps us know we will see him/her again.

Olivia had no clue that is was the anniversary date of our miscarriage the other night. She walks up to me with this baby doll and says this was how big our second baby was. It looks bigger in the picture. It really is little no bigger than the palm of your hand. The baby was about the size of a lime! It was developing a lot of things. I want go into much detail about that.  I just needed to reflect on how I feel about losing  a pregnancy. I will never forget that pregnancy or that child. With that being said Catelee celebrating her 4th birthday 2 weeks back. We had it at the jumping place in Hurley. I just want to write a few things about how it took us to get pregnant with her. After our miscarriage the doctor told us to wait six months to try again. We waiting right at the 5th month. As a few months went by and we still were not pregnant. What alife  lesson I learned about Gods timing and his plan. It took us a whole YEAR to get pregnant with her!!! Talk about struggles that went on in my life. I learned a lot about myself and patience. So for this child I prayed and The Lord granted me 1 Samuel 1:27. Is so true. We went to the doctor for the 8 weeks once a week. We were NOT giving a due date just yet. After the big 12 weeks we were able to breath. I can't believe she is FOUR! She brings so much joy to our lives. Here are a few pictures from her party!
I didn't take any family photos or the children playing. My mom had a triple bypass that Thursday and my mind was not all there. We had her party Friday. We had a great time! Happy birthday, Catelee!
