We survived Kindergarten

Well we made it Thur Olivia's first year of "real school". It was not that bad at all. Olivia is going to be like me and not care for school.

Here are a few pictures.

                                                             Mrs. Paige (asst. Teacher)

I  saw something on pinterest, were you take the Dr. Seuss book Oh, the places you will go, and have all her teachers sign it til she graduates high school.  The teachers wrote some sweet things in there. I could have not been more proud. One thing her teacher wrote is she saw Jesus everyday in her!!!!

Olivia,
I can not believe you will be a first grader next year. You have grown so much. I am excited to see what the Lord has planned for you. I know he has great things for you to do.
Love,
Mom

Mother's Day!!!

Mother's day started Saturday morning, with a brunch at a lady's house from church. Let me start by giving you a background of why we had the brunch.

There is a lady named Lynne Underwood, who passed away 2 years ago with brain cancer. She went to the same church as Jeremy and I, and LOVES young couples at the church. She was always throwing some kind of fellowship to get the young couples involved. At first, Jeremy and I were the only couple but it has grown now.
There is a lot that I can say about her. One thing I know I can say is she loved her Lord and Savior. Oh, her Faith gives me the chills. How she loved her family was amazing. She got to stay home will her children were little and then went to work as they got older. When I say she was a Christian she meant it.She is just an amazing person.
So, her best friends throw the "young moms" a brunch to honor us and remember Mrs. Lynne. We got there and ate some yummy food. We had a pamphlet  with some question's about mothers of the bible, we talked about our own moms and grandparents, and our own children. Of course, we talked about Mrs. Lynne.
Her daughter was there and of course she is a mom now. For her daughters wedding a few years ago,she needed a necklace to borrow so, she went to her best friend and borrowed one. At the brunch the friend gave Mrs.Lynne's daughter the necklace she borrowed as a gift to her. Yes, we all cried!!!
Photo: Our tribute today to our lovely Lynne whom we all miss but know that she living it up with Jesus! We threw a party with you in mind Lynne and we know you would have loved it!!
This is Mrs. Lynne at her daughters wedding. This was at the entrance at Mrs. Darlene's house

A few of us at the table eating. Some of our faces are funny.
Mrs. Lynne's daughter is sitting to my right.
Some of the things there were Mrs. Lynne's favorite. Yellow roses were her favorite and that was the center pieces of the tables.
It was a great time. I can't thank these women for thinking of us.

Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kidness is on her tongue. She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her. "Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all." Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates.
                                                                Proverb 31:25-31

Sunday we went to church that morning and then my parents and his moms. It was a great afternoon of spending family time together. I am still amazed at how God wanted me to be a mom and gave me some amazing children. My biggest struggle is do I love my children enough, do I give them enough attention, show them God's love and be the best what I need to be.

Olivia had a Mother's day  tea at school.
The purse is flled with questions she answered about me.
The part is she said I weighed 78 pounds!!!

                                                          Me and my favorite girls!

Thank you Lord for everything you have blessed me with.

Fun in the Sun!!!!

We had our first beach vacation this past weekend.  My friend Amy and her parents own a condo in Destin, Fl. right across from the beach.

We got there Friday night, so we could not do anything. Saturday morning the girls were READY to go!
We had breakfast and headed to the beach. I will say it was windy and cool. It did not phase the girls one bit. Jeremy got them some cute sweaters to wear over their swimsuit, that didn't work. They took them off and off to the water they went.

I took over 300 pictures.

These are the wonderful sweaters, they didn't want to wear.

Catelee Bug enjoying fun in the sun!!
I will say she just ran around and kept saying "Destin, Destin, Woo Hoo!!!

Olivia was more relaxed and loved looking for seashells.
                                                                         She loved it!!

She was the only one that would jump off the sand hill.

Catelee would jump off if Jeremy or I would do it with her.
One... two... jump

Funny faces!!!!
I saw this on pinterest. I tried to get a family picture done but the girls were not having it.

We took a dolphin cruise. It takes you out around the gulf for about 2 and half hours. You get to see dolphins and a sunset.

There are some pictures of the dolphins. There was a huge pod of them. This wave runner get going by fast and making them go back in the water. The kiddos weren't happy.

We had a wonderful time in Destin making great family memories. Can't wait til our next trip.

Field Trip Time

Olivia had a school field trip to the Marine Life in Gulfport. I know it is not called that anymore. The name has changed since Katrina. We had a great time learning about sea life.

Waiting with a few friends to go in.
Goofing off while waiting.

Mrs. Perek and Mrs. Pagie classes.

When we first got in there, we saw a video about mammals. After, the show this lady came and showed us tricks this parrot could do.
He showed us he could recycle.
First he picked the paper up.

Then walked it over to the trash can.

TaDa he put it in the trash can.

The bird picked up rubber toys and put them in a small wagon.

Then starting pulling the wagon. It was so neat.

Olivia was so proud of herself for touching the crab and the sting ray below.

This is a collage of pictures from Hurricane Katrina, that hit in 2005. Oh my, that thing was a hot mess. It just brought back so many memories. People just kept saying, " I cant believe it was that bad." We have came along way since then.

                                                                The Dolphin Show
                                                           The children enjoyed it!!!
                                                                      Waving to us

                                                            Swimming by talking to us
The trainer and a little helper throw this hula hoop in the water.
                                                              The dolphin swam to it.
And brought it back to the trainer.
The big jump!!                                           We had a great time spending the day together.

April is a month of Celebrations

April is a very busy month for The Boulware house. Evening though Easter was at the end of March, I will still blog about Easter. Jeremy and I also celebrated our 8 year anniversary and Catelee turned 3.

We celebrated Catelee's 3rd birthday the Saturday before Easter. We had it at the house. I woke hurting and took medicine and didn't realize  I took PM. So, needless to say I was not in party mood. I didn't take pictures and set up everything. She did enjoy it and all her friends. My sister did take a few pictures.

That is Catelee at her Easter party. That is my class with the project we made. It is their hand print, a cross, rock, sun, and grass. It says He Lives!!! I love my job because I can celebrate the real reason of Easter and Christmas.
He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Matthew 28:6

For Easter we went to church then his dad's for lunch and had an Easter egg hunt.

For dinner we went to his moms and had an Easter egg hunt also.
I forgot to take pictures while they were egg hunting so, Jeremy and I did our own photo op!!!

Jeremy and I celebrated our 8 year wedding anniversary. He got me a new necklace, a cookie cake from Anderson's, and we went to outback for dinner. Thur out the day I sent Jeremy 8 reasons why I Love him. I sent a bible verse with everyone. We also went to Atlanta for a weekend trip.

Catelee turning 3. We always let the girls decided were they want to eat for dinner and we go. Last year she picked Chick Fil A. This year it was the waffle house. She loves that place. I brought rainbow cookies for her class as a treat. She got a few birthday cards in the mail. I cant believe my LAST baby is 3. Time flies when you are having FUN! Catelee you bring so much joy to our family. You are a light from darkness that shines so BIG! I praise my Lord everyday for you!!!
I can seriously say this bible verse means a lot to me.
I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted  me what I asked of him.
1 Samuel 1:27

Finally, the vacations are starting. This past weekend we drove to Atlanta. I know people think we are weird but  we love to go.

While we were there we went to J. Christopher's for brunch, we went shopping all around Atlanta, saw stuff for the final four, and went to a game. It was a great game!!!

Why rush to get home? When there is more shopping to do?!?!? We took are time getting home. We stopped and shopped in Montgomery. We look crazy in the pictures. The girls need a hair cut. Do not judge them. LOL
The past few weeks have been busy. But we have enjoyed it. Now I can not wait to our next vacation in Destin, FL. ONLY 2 weeks to go
